Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s is serving a bottomless Bloody Mary brunch. Appetizers include creamy tomato soup, stone ground grits, ham and Gruyere quiche, farm fresh mixed green salad and ahi tuna tartare. Entrée selections include grilled top sirloin steak, blackened Scottish salmon cobb salad, baked organic eggs, wild mushroom and cheddar omelet, scrambled eggs and chorizo wrap, Kobe-style beef sliders or crispy chicken and waffles. Every father also receives a complimentary jar of steak salt. Reservations are recommended.

Pizzeria Ortica is opening their doors on a Sunday just to host a family-style feast in honor of Father’s Day. A 3-course meal features tricolore salad, spaghetti, bone-in New York strip steak and your choice of Ortica’s delectable wood-fired pizza. Also comes with gelato and wine selection, for $75. Serves 3-4 people.

Scott’s is featuring a “dad-friendly” 2-course Father’s Day brunch, complete with optional free-flowing draft beer or champagne.  The $35 per-person menu includes oyster shooters, carne asada salad, hot spicy shrimp, grilled ribeye, lamb chops, macadamia mahi and crab benedict. Interested in dinner instead?  Scott’s is featuring a family-style dinner with large portions meant to be shared.  $30 per person.

AnQi Bistro is offering an a la carte brunch for Dad’s special day. The brunch features Kalbi steak and eggs (with wasabi tater tots, a sunnyside-up egg and tamarind A-1 sauce), ginger French toast (with lemon grass syrup and Thai basil chantilly) and Vietnamese crepes (with bean sprouts, sweet chillies and charred frisée).  In addition to the special menu, the first 40 Father’s Day reservations will receive a cocktail of dad’s choice. AnQi is also offering a dinner special of a ginormous 16-oz., bone-in ribeye steak from 5:30pm-10:00pm that evening.

The 3rd Annual Spring Concert Series is on Sundays at the Orange County Marketplace, the weekend swap meet at the O.C. Fair & Event Center. Spring Concert Series and Woodstock are FREE with the donation of a canned food item for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Regular admission is $2 and children 12 and under are always free. In its 42nd year, the swap meet operates every Saturday and Sunday except during the annual Orange County Fair. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features nearly 1,000 vendors, food concessions, fresh produce, artisans and crafters, manufactured homes, kid’s playground and much more.
