Live the Look kicked off last night at South Coast Plaza with a runway fashion show in Jewel Court featuring some of the hottest trends of the season. Labels like Chloe, Versace, Barbara Bui and more were on display.
George Kotsiopoulos of E!’s Fashion Police hosted the runway show and provided the insight, flair and sense of humor that he’s become famous for. The Hollywood Reporter, in conjunction with South Coast Plaza presented the fashion show as an introduction for Live the Look.
Live the Look was created for fashion lovers to celebrate an extended weekend of style with an exciting array of events at South Coast Plaza.
Today, from noon until 7pm, there will be a MAC beauty exhibit and model demonstration in Jewel Court. Iconic fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez will host the event with appearances by supermodel Pat Cleveland and MAC’s Director of Makeup Artistry, Gregory Arlt.
One of our favorite restaurants, AnQi by Crustacean is hosting Fashionably Friday tonight at 7pm. Gregory Arlt will be curating a fashion and beauty show and will be joined by Sassoon Salon Creative Director Edward Tedeschi and Carol McColgin of The Hollywood Reporter. The fashion will be provided by DKNY and Porsche Design and the show will feature the latest fall makeup and hair trends.
Come to the Crate and Barrel/Macy’s Home Store Wing on Saturday, October 5 from 2-4 pm on level 2 for a live fashion and beauty modeling show. Enjoy music and live modeling featuring Anthropologie, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Stade.co, Lululemon Athletica, Oliver Peoples, Make Up For Ever, Carlton Hair and more. There will also be other beauty demonstrations throughout South Coast Plaza.
The Live the Look weekend is not just about new clothes, hair and makeup, there is also the Hollywood Home Discussion on Sunday, October 6 from 2-4pm at South Coast Plaza Village. The event will feature Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators’ interior designer Kathryn Ireland who will talk about Hollywood home trends with Degen Pener and Alexandria Abramian of The Hollywood Reporter.
Throughout the weekend, over 100 MAC Makeup Artists will be giving complimentary makeovers. They will also provide demonstrations each day at 1, 3 and 5pm. There will also be a chance to win some incredible South Coast Plaza prizes. Overall, there will be over 50 in-store events, music and photo opportunities throughout the shopping center. South Coast Plaza is an international shopping destination in the City of the Arts, Costa Mesa. With incredible events like Live the Look, it’s easy to see why.
