The characters, story and music make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good musical.  The City of the Arts will play host to MAMMA MIA! with 8 performances from April 8 – 13, 2014 at SCFTA.  The story takes place on a Greek island where a daughter’s goal to discover the true identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother’s past to the same island they last visited 20 years earlier.  MAMMA MIA! uses some of ABBA’s greatest hits and catchiest songs to tell this timeless tale of love, laughter and friendship.

Take advantage of fun pre-show activities prior to each performance.  The always-popular photo opportunity is once again available. This time, MAMMA MIA! guests can show their best “Dancing Queen” pose against a dazzling backdrop.  Don’t forget to share your best photos on social media using the hashtag #MammaMiaOC.  There will also be a disco dance floor with songs and music videos from ABBA.  Learn more about MAMMA MIA! with the timeline banner that will be on display in the theater lobby.  The timeline banner features historical facts and figures about the musical, ABBA and Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
