Betty Buckley
Betty Buckley, one of Broadway’s most legendary leading ladies, won a Tony Award® for her performance as Grizabella in Cats. She has been inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame. Her multi-faceted career includes film, television, theater and recordings. She has performed in concert halls around the world.
Her second Tony® nomination was for her performance in Triumph of Love, and she received an Olivier Award Nomination for Sunset Boulevard, which she repeated to more rave reviews on Broadway. Her other Broadway credits include 1776, Pippin, Song and Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Carrie.
On television, she was featured in the HBO series OZ and played Abby Bradford in the hit series Eight Is Enough. She has starred in numerous films, and has just completed shooting M. Night Shayamalan’s newest film Split in which she co-stars with James McAvoy to be released in January 2017.
Buckley has recorded 16 CDs and has received three Grammy® Nominations. Her newest CD Ghostlight was produced by T Bone Burnett and was voted #2 Best Album of the Year in 2014 by USA Today.
