This is a pre-Fair concert from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to celebrate the newly constructed Pacific Amphitheatre lobby and Plaza Pacifica area. A ribbon-cutting ceremony in the new plaza will kick-off the special night. The 2015 OC Fair is July 17-August 16.
Perennial classic-rock favorite, America, is also celebrating its 45th anniversary and will perform some of their greatest hits live at the Pacific Amphitheatre. America is best known for “A Horse With No Name,” “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway” and “Don’t Cross the River.”
America will be joined by Orange County’s own Pacific Symphony, which is celebrating its 36th season. The Pacific Symphony is the largest symphony formed in the U.S. in the last 50 years and has been recognized nationally and internationally as an outstanding ensemble offering great orchestral masterworks to music from today’s most prominent composers.
