About Angelitos de Oro and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County
Angelitos de Oro is a volunteer women’s auxiliary, which supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.  Since its inception in 1961, Angelitos de Oro has donated more than $4,000,000 to this non-profit agency as a result of fundraising efforts.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County matches adult and high school volunteers to boys and girls who are in need of a mentor and role model. These matches help children strengthen self-esteem, improve academic success, and make the difficult transition into adulthood.

Additional one-on-one programs are offered, as well as group activities.  Currently the agency aids more than 1500 children per year.  The goal is to provide funds for additional matches by the end of 2010 for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States.  The purchase of an Angelitos Card can help make a child’s wish to have a Big Brother or Big Sister come true.
