The Segerstrom family continues their beloved annual Costa Mesa tradition of illuminating the 96-foot white fir tree. The tree will decorated with more than 150,000 points of LED lights, making it one of the most brilliant-looking giant Christmas trees in Southern California.
The Segerstrom family purposely holds the tree lighting at Town Center Park, across the street from South Coast Plaza, to highlight the family and community spirit of the holiday season. The Orange County High School of the Arts will present a spectacular production themed with Santa’s preparation for his trip to South Coast Plaza. The event will take place in a newly configured space facing Bristol Street and will also feature a live band and carolers performing songs of the season. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
