Sherman Library & Gardens

The Sherman Library & Gardens is a 2.2 botanical garden on Orange County’s coast, including a display of immaculately designed gardens, patios and conservatories. Located off of Pacific Coast Highway in Corona Del Mar, the gardens are a great location to spend an afternoon wandering through a peaceful garden complete with seasonal flowers and bubbling fountains.

The botanical garden includes exhibitions of some of California’s most beautiful plant life, including succulents, cacti and pepper trees, along with roses, tropical plant life and even a Japanese garden. 

The Sherman Library is a historical research library specializing in the Pacific Southwest.

The Sherman Library & Gardens also includes Café Jardin, which serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brunch on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors are invited to dine outdoors in the garden’s central patio or indoors. 

The gardens are open to visitors daily from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The library is open Monday through Friday. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children between 12 and 18 years of age.
