Scottish Fest Orange County

Scottish Fest Orange County

Scottish Fest, held at the OC Fair & Event Center, is the oldest and longest-running event of its kind in Southern California. The two-day festival is put on each Memorial Day weekend by the United Scottish Society to celebrate the Scottish heritage and tradition. It dates back to 1932 as a small gathering called the Highland Games, but has since grown to cover nearly all 150 acres of the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. The 2018 Scottish Fest will take place on May 26th and 27th.

Scottish Fest includes a lively weekend full of music, dance, competitions (including a beard contest), displays of athleticism, whisky and incredible food. Listen to bagpipe bands compete, watch Scottish dancing performances, and stare in awe at shows of strength in the caber toss, farmers walk and hammer throw. The event also hosts activities for youth and features a fair of vendors, food and whisky master classes.
