Lucky You: St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Costa Mesa

Published Mar 1, 2026, 12:18pm

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Sure, March 17 has some historical significance, but these days, it’s mostly about green beer, good company, and questionable fashion choices. Lucky for you, you don’t need a four-leaf clover to find the best spots for happy hour and St. Paddy’s Day fun in Costa Mesa.

1. Durty Nelly’s

A Costa Mesa karaoke classic, Durty Nelly’s is dialing up the Irish charm for its annual festivities. Discount shots of Jameson’s, themed green beer, karaoke, and a special menu are all part of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. No reservations are needed, but we recommend arriving early to secure a spot.

2. The Harp Inn

The Harp Inn proudly calls itself “The Most Authentic Irish Pub in Orange County” and they’re backing it up with a two-day celebration. The festivities kick off March 15 with “St. Practice Day,” a warm-up to the main event featuring shepherd’s pie and plenty of pints to kick things off. On March 17, the full celebration unfolds with live bagpipers and Irish dancers bringing the pub to life throughout the day. Fuel up with a traditional Irish breakfast in the morning, then settle in for plates of corned beef and cabbage served well into the night.

3. Patrick’s Pub

With a couple of pool tables and lots of friendly service, you’ll also find a jukebox, foosball, shuffleboard, and darts. Patrick’s pub serves beer on tap on St. Patrick’s Day, with happy hour specials. Open until 2 a.m. at 2645 Harbor Boulevard.

4. Day on the Green at The CAMP!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the eco-friendly way at The CAMP! Join the fun on Friday, March 14, for a day filled with free yoga (9–11 AM), live Celtic music, workshops, and more. Whether you’re here for the mindful movement or jams, it’s the perfect way to get into the spirit.
