Now more than ever we could all use a change of scenery, some fresh air and an escape from reality. WHAT TO DO

Head out for a morning walk to Phillz Coffee where each cup of coffee or tea is brewed to order from one of 20 custom blends from around the world. Take your joe to-go and wander through Town Center Park to the city’s hidden sculpture garden – California Scenario, also known as Noguchi Garden. Try and spot a few of the 20+ pieces of public art by following a self-guided art walk map. The beach is just a few miles from Costa Mesa. Spend a day splashing along the shoreline or cruising along the boardwalk of one of Orange County’s popular beaches.

Many restaurants such as Vitaly Caffe and Habana have patios where you can enjoy full-service dining. Try a light charcuterie plate and some wine tasting at The Wine Lab where all the wines are on tap and a flight is served in a set of beakers. Seabirds Kitchen offers an unexpected delicious twist on tacos, burgers and rice bowls – all from their vegan-inspired menu.

One of the largest shopping destinations on the west coast, South Coast Plaza features designer brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada plus exclusive boutiques like The Webster and Givenchy. Having just reopened with significant health and safety standards in place, they welcome you to shop to your heart’s content knowing your well-being is a top priority.
