Huntington City Beach

At Huntington City Beach, you can find year-round activities including volleyball courts, concerts, bonfire pits, and relaxation at the Huntington Beach Pier. For those looking to extend their stay overnight at the beach during October – May, can head to The Sunset Vista RV Campground which boasts breathtaking views for both visitors and locals. There is a $15 entry fee for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Bolsa Chica State Beach

South of Sunset Beach in Orange County is the Bolsa Chica State Beach. This is an ideal location for surfing, volleyball, sunbathing, water sports, or simply to relax and watch the sun set. The beach has consistent waves and surf breaks which makes this an idea suring spot for indivuduals looking for shallow water. If you enjoy fishing, Bosa Chica is also known for surf fishing of California corbina, croaker, shovelnose guitar fish, perch, and sand shark.

This beach also has 50 campsites available for visitors with self-contained RVs looking for electrical and water hookups. The daily fee for a standard vehicle is $15/day from April to September.

Huntington Dog Beach

If you have a furry friend with you on your visit to Orange County, then you must check out the Huntington Dog Beach. As a 100% community-funded beach, it is the spot that you can take your dog off-leash for them to enjoy the cool sand in their paws. If you make your visit in September, make sure to catch the Surf City Surf Dog Event which features a dog surfing competition featuring pets all over the globe.

Huntington State Beach

This 121 acre beach is another fantastic option for surfing, volleyball, basketball, special events, or night time bonfires. Make sure to arrive early to claim first dibs on a fire ring and keep an eye for migratory birds, as the beach is close to an ecological reserve. Standard day time use for vehicles in $15 and is open from 6am – 10pm.
