The LAB Anti-Mall and CAMP eco-retail campus announce the first-annual BLOOM springtime festival of art, music and food right here in Costa Mesa within the walkable SoBeCa District stretching from Bristol St. to Randolph to Baker in an artsy geographic triangle. The event is free to the public with multiple live music venues, yoga demonstrations, art installations, culinary specials and retail promotions on Sunday, May 17 from 4 pm to 9 pm. The spring equinox signals rebirth and renewal, and what better season to celebrate the BLOOM evening as a neighborhood “open house” in Costa Mesa. “The SoBeCa District has taken root, so to speak,” says Katie Adams of the LAB team, “with a well-developed community of like minded artisans and entrepreneurs, and spring is the natural time to celebrate together.”
