As the winner of this year’s Audience Fan Favorite Poll, Grease fans are “hopelessly devoted” to this classic movie musical! Travel back to the 1950s and sing-a-long as John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John star in the biggest movie musical of all time.
Segerstrom Center’s FREE Movie Mondays returns for its tenth season on the Arts Plaza. Movie-goers can look forward to casual evenings full of fun-filled activities, picnic dinners or specialties from popular food trucks and watching five fan-favorite films on consecutive Mondays.
Families and fans from all over arrive early for Movie Mondays, claiming their space on the Center’s 46,000-square-foot Arts Plaza, enjoying early dinners, music and people watching. Since the movies are projected on the side of Segerstrom Hall, everyone has a great seat. Set-up begins at 5:30 p.m., with the movie starting at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.). Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs or other easily portable seating items, snacks and picnic suppers. Each Monday will also feature different food trucks serving culinary sensations throughout each screening. Barbecues and similar food preparation are not permitted. Prior to the show (starting around 7:30 p.m.) there are audience participation events.
