The Triangle, formerly known as Triangle Square, offers 191,000 square feet of outdoor entertainment and retail space. As a Costa Mesa landmark property and downtown anchor, it is only 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean and close to several major road systems.
The Triangle is home to one of Orange County’s top nightclubs, Sutra Lounge. It also contains bars and restaurants like Zen Bistro, offering sushi and other Japanese fare, and Yard House, the popular Southern California restaurant and brewery offering American cuisine along with a huge selection of beers and microbrews. The complex also houses Starlight Triangle Square Cinemas, which was the host of the 2011 Newport Beach Film Festival. The theatre offers Senior Discount Days of only $4 on Wednesdays, and Family Discount Days of $4 Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is a $2 additional charge for 3D presentations. Select Mondays are classic film nights, including iconic films as The Godfather, Citizen Kane and Ben-Hur.
You can also find 24-Hour Fitness SuperSport, a 60,000-square-foot facility that opened in November 2011. The state-of-the-art club offers basketball and racquetball courts, cardio, strength and functional training equipment with personal viewing screens on select machines, a functional training area with TRX Suspension Training and several cycle and Group X classrooms.
The recent additions of The Black Knight, Olive Branch Pizza, the Saddle Ranch Chop House and El Corazon de Costa Mesa have made the Triangle a culinary center. There are also plans to bring in a bowling alley, turning The Triangle into a destination location with a blend of entertainment.
