For its Center debut, the company will perform Decadance, a repertory program of Batsheva’s celebrated works, each grounded in in Gaga, Naharin’s distinctive and globally disseminated movement method. Pure movement is combined with theater in pieces charged not just with tension and drama, but also texture, color and rhythm. Decadance is full of vitality and impact, provided by its dancers who skillfully maintain the pace and energy despite disruptions from the house. The young cast is fluid and articulate as they explore the full depth and range of their movements.
