Canvas Costa Mesa Art Walk
This event is an independent collective of creative businesses who promote the arts in Costa Mesa. These collaborative events are designed to bring awareness to the city’s diverse access points of creativity: museums, galleries, theaters, businesses, schools and more. Spanned across Randolph Avenue and Bristol Street, the inaugural CANVAS Costa Mesa event will take place Friday, November 21 from 7 to 10pm and will include a lively evening of
exhibitions, live painting, arts related activities, shopping, eating and drinking. The LAB Anti-Mall (2390 Bristol St.), in celebration of its deep artistic roots and long-time support of emerging artists, and As Issued Art and Design bookstore, Orange County’s only bookstore/art gallery invite the public to the unveiling of the first installment of SoBECA's Mural Initiative (South on Bristol, Entertainment, Culture, Art District).
Celebrate the success and competitive spirit of local artists Jeff McMillan, Thomas Broersma, Gary Musgrave and brothers Thomas Lee and Andrew Bakofsky while you reflect on their unique yet synergistic styles.The reception will include live music, refreshments and appetizer samplings provided by Seabirds Kitchen.
Canvas Costa Mesa is located in the SoBeCa district and is easily accessible via the 405, 55 and 73 freeways. All events are in a comfortable walking distance to each other.
