A Family Concert: Holst's The Planets at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa January
The centennial premiere of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets!” will take listeners on a journey through the solar system as the Philharmonic Society’s Orange County Youth Symphony depicts seven planets of our solar system. Hear Mars’ ominous temper and rocky rhythms, Jupiter’s majestic tune and Venus’ tranquil harmony.
Before the concert, take part in hands-on activities in the concert hall lobby including musical instruments, a petting zoo and arts and crafts.
