Mothing Night with Costa Mesa Recreation

Join us to experience Fairview Park after dark! Mothing involves setting up a light directed at a sheet which insects will be attracted to.

Come observe and document these critters with us! This will expand the data we have on insect species and biodiversity at the park!

We will have timed entries, so please make sure to be on time and exit the event promptly when your time slot is up. Our lighting set up will be small and we want to give people in all the time slots an equal opportunity to observe.

Registration will be checked upon entering the park, so please make sure to have your tickets ready!
