The OC Throwdown was the first local competition in Southern California to contest the Sport of Fitness. Our goal is to provide our local athletes with an avenue to showcase their skills and fitness levels. The first annual Throwdown was contested in January 2010. With over 125 competing athletes and 400 paid spectators from all over the Orange County, CA area, the first annual OC Throwdown, was a thrilling experience for everyone. Due to a groundswell of interest, what started as a small local affair arranged to have some fun and friendly competition between nearby clubs, morphed into a worldwide competition, drawing elite level athletes from all over the world, with countries including, Russia, Australia, Iceland, Japan, China, Canada and so many more. This year will bring you 3 full days of competition that will encompass a wide variety of fitness diversity ensuring that the fitest truly prevails and captures the prize purse of over $100,000.
