Tuesday Night Dance: Soulful Grooves at Agryros Plaza

Every month from April through September, join us on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza to learn a new style of dance taught by a local expert instructor. These outdoor community classes are FREE to attend with a Plaza Pass and designed for all ages and abilities. No dance experience required!

In June, we’re celebrating styles rooted in Black dance traditions as part of Black Music Month at the Center! Join founder and artistic director of Dance Arts Academy OC Sakina Ibrahim for a month of social dance, jazz, hip hop (old & new school), and beyond! Each class will also include one of the Center’s Studio D instructors demonstrating adapted movements for those who participate seated.

Segerstrom Center is proud to celebrate Black Music Month this June, with a focus on amplifying Black voices, musical origins, and influence. This series will highlight Black artists and creatives over the course of several exciting programs including live performances, Tuesday Night Dance classes, and more!
