Philharmonic Society of Orange County
2082 Business Center Dr., Ste. 100, Irvine, CA, 92612
Since its inception in 1954, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County has made its mission to foster and promote knowledge, enjoyment and appreciation of music and related arts through performances. The Philharmonic Society presents the world’s most acclaimed symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, soloists and international artists to Orange County.
The Society is the oldest music organization in Orange County and relies on the support of volunteers to be able to provide staged performances and youth programs. At many of the performances, a pre-concert lecture is given. The lectures are a unique opportunity to learn from the experts and gain a deeper understanding of the music.
Many of the Philharmonic Society’s performances are in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall located on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts Campus. Get more information about the Society and purchase tickets here.
