HUNTINGTON BEACH
Huntington Beach borders both Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. Known as Surf City USA®, it’s popular year round for surfing, fishing, bonfires and more. Active recreational use includes walking, running, hiking, bicycle riding, swimming, surfing, bodysurfing, boogie boarding, kite surfing, paddle boarding, skim boarding, kayaking, and other similar ocean activities such as fishing. Beaches and the ocean will be closed to passive games, loitering, sunbathing, and gatherings of people.  Huntington Beach is home to 5 beaches stretching 8.8 miles.
Newport Beach, CA
NEWPORT BEACH
Newport Beach offers an underwater park, a canyon for hiking, biking and horse-riding, along with over 10 miles of beaches. Surfers will want to check out The Wedge, on the east side, where waves can swell up to 30 feet high. Beaches are open for passive and active recreational use that follow physical distancing guidelines during normal beach hours (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.), 7 days a week.
