Small batches allow Huskins to make sure each bean is roasted evenly—creating a more consistent + ultra fresh roast every time. Huskins only uses organic beans. Why? Organic farming techniques require that no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, or insecticides are used. After retiring from a successful NHL career in 2015, Kent decided to take his passion for coffee to new heights by learning how to select and roast coffee. In 2018, Kent and his wife Bri opened their doors to a successful venture which now includes a 2nd location in Newport Beach and their own roastery in Santa Ana.
