Gunwhale Ales strike a balance between the raw, wild spirit of farmhouse brewing, and the pioneering hops-forward style of California. They ferment, age and blend all beer on their facility in the SoBECA district of Costa Mesa. Gunwhale has a wooden foudre and temperature-controlled barrel room, with a growing supply of oak barrels to develop more complex farmhouse, wild, and sour beers.The drive is toward Saisons and hoppy IPAs.
