California Arts Council Listening Tour in Costa Mesa
The California Arts Council made its 9th and final stop last night in Costa Mesa as part of their statewide listening tour. The members of the CAC have encouraged people not jut within the arts “community,” but any citizen who wished to voice their opinion about the state of the arts in California to join the discussion.

The Segerstrom Center for the Arts 22nd annual “Summer at the Center” program teaches, inspires and empowers at-risk teens in Orange County during a two-week training program that culminates in a public performance.

Free Movie Mondays at Segerstrom Center for the Arts
July is one of the best months in the City of the Arts. It marks the start of the annual OC Fair, concerts in the Pacific Amphitheatre and FREE Movie Mondays at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Although there are no staged performances at SCFTA, July presents a great opportunity for visitors to come to the Center during weekly screenings of beloved films.

June Performances at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa
June is going to be an electrifying month at Segerstrom Center for the Arts with appearances by comedy and musical legends as well as the return of some old favorites and one highly regarded premiere.
Headlining the month of June is the musical based on the hit movie and amazing true story that inspired it, Catch Me If You Can. The Broadway musical tells the story of Frank W. Abagnale, Jr., a runaway teenager who received millions of dollars from forged checks and successfully posed as a doctor, pilot and other high profile professions. Catch Me If You Can has received rave reviews and will make its Orange County premiere at SCFTA on June 25 during its limited run. There will be a shows each day until June 30. 2013 Arts Teach Showcase at Segerstrom Center for the Arts
The 2013 Arts Teach Showcase was held at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa today. The showcase is an annual event hosted by the Center and enables local school representatives a unique opportunity to see artists perform, then meet with the artists and other art educators.
